Ukrenergo to invest UAH 1bn into electric substations in Lugansk region

The companies may file for the tenders via ProZorro procurement system until January 31. The works are estimated to the total of UAH 1.803bn for Kremenskaya and Donbass-Donskaya electric substations. The auction will take part on March 7. The works foresee preparation of construction project drawings and specifications for works, obtaining of positive decision from the expertise bureau, construction works and spendings for domestic and foreign equipment for the electric substations. The transmission and distribution systems in Lugansk region were heavily damaged in war. The erection of Kremenskaya electric substation will help to synchronize the northern parts of Lugansk region with the united power grid of Ukraine. As of now, these parts work like islands with stepped down power generation. The electric substations will help industrial enterprises to work at full capacity in the territory of Ukraine close to combat zone .
