Waste Sorting Complex with Capacity of 50,000 Tons per Year Offered for Sale in Kyiv Region for $1.5 Million

According to InVenture, an operating waste sorting complex with processing capacity of up to 50,000 tons of municipal solid waste per year has been put up for sale in the Kyiv region

An operating waste sorting complex with processing capacity of up to 50,000 tons of municipal solid waste per year has been put up for sale in Ukraine’s Kyiv region. The facility is located in the village of Tarasivka, Fastiv district, and is offered for sale together with a land plot and a full set of infrastructure and equipment.

The complex specializes in the collection, sorting, and preparation of municipal solid waste for recycling, enabling the extraction of secondary raw materials such as plastic, paper, glass, and metal for further resale or processing. The sorting line has a capacity of up to 50,000 tons per year, and the working area includes 10 sorting stations.

The asset includes a 1.36-hectare land plot held in private ownership with an industrial land designation. A detailed territory plan and urban planning documentation have been approved for the site, creating opportunities for further expansion of the facility.

The complex infrastructure includes warehouses for recyclable materials storage, containers for plastic, paper, and glass collection, containers for residual waste, as well as a fenced territory with concrete paving and an access road. The site is equipped with a 100 kW transformer substation, a 50 kW autonomous diesel generator, a technical water well, and video surveillance and lighting systems.

The technological component includes a sorting line manufactured by MPP “Rada”, featuring a storage bunker with a moving floor, waste feed conveyors, sorting cabin, ventilation and air purification systems, and a central control panel. Additional equipment includes a horizontal baling press for recyclable materials, PET processing equipment, and auxiliary conveyor systems.

The facility is also equipped with the necessary machinery and transport, including 80-ton truck scales, front and forklift loaders, a MAN container truck with a multilift system, as well as auxiliary equipment and storage containers.

Administrative infrastructure includes a checkpoint, office module, staff facilities, kitchen and dining area, and sanitary block with showers and laundry, allowing operations for up to 12 employees per shift.

A key advantage of the project is its scalability potential. A project has already been developed for the construction of an additional 1,800 m² hangar, where two new waste sorting lines with capacity of 75,000 tons per year each are planned to be installed, significantly increasing processing capacity.

The owner offers 100% of the business for sale.

The price of the complex is $1.5 million (cashless payment with VAT at the commercial exchange rate on the payment date).
