Last autumn, the shareholders of PJSC Donetskstal Metallurgical Plant assigned Optimal Trade LLC the rights to claim debts of PJSC DMK for a total of UAH 8.175 billion.
The economic court of the Dnipropetrovsk region opened proceedings on the bankruptcy case of DMK in May 2019. Lenders have filed claims against DMK for about UAH 130 billion, including UAH 20.9 billion from Optimal Trade LLC and UAH 20.7 billion from Metinvest Holding LLC.
The company for trading metals and metal ores "Optimal Trade" was established in 2017. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, the beneficiary of Optimal Trade is Oleg Semyonov from Kherson, who owns the company through the Cypriot Nerselia Holding Ltd.
DMK specializes in the production of iron, steel, rolled products and consumer goods. The enterprise is part of the ISD corporation.
