Austrian banker wishes to buy local Investbank

The value of the deal is at USD 2mln

Austrian investor banker Uwe Christian Eschner filed for purchasing of a controlling stake at domestic Investbank (Odessa), according to the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market. The investment banker plans to acquire 45.55mln shares corresponding to 65.7% stake. The face value of the shares worth UAH 58mln. The major shareholders of Investbank are private persons Oleksandr Nezvinsky (directly 19.9649%, indirectly 24.0455% via Bab-invest LLC), Nika Teplits (indirectly 41.2577% % via Tesa LLC), Ihor Teplits (directly 5.7264%), Serhiy Yablonsky (indirectly 3.7529% via Agro-Invest Ukraine) and Tamara Nezvinska (directly 2.353%). The bank was founded in 1992. In terms of assets amounting to UAH 410mln, Investbank is ranked 76th among 100 banks, as of October 2016.
