Ukraine’s Avesterra Group plans to expand its poultry farm in Volyn region, increasing broiler production from 2.3 million to 12.4 million birds per year through the construction of new facilities

Avesterra Group, an agricultural holding owned by former Ukrainian politicians Mykhailo and Dmytro Dobkin, plans a large-scale expansion of its poultry business in Volyn region, increasing the capacity of its broiler farm more than fivefold — from 2.3 million to 12.4 million chickens per year.

This is stated in the planned activity notice of LUTSK AGRICULTURAL COMPANY LLC, which is part of the holding’s structure.

The existing poultry farm is located in the village of Kohylne, Volodymyr district, Volyn region. The enterprise currently occupies 7.6 hectares and includes 12 poultry houses and auxiliary infrastructure. Its current production capacity is up to 2.3 million broilers per year.

As part of the investment project, the company plans to significantly expand production. On a neighboring land plot of 18.8 hectares, it plans to build another 28 poultry houses, compound feed warehouses, sanitary checkpoints, and other auxiliary facilities. After the expansion is completed, the total capacity of the poultry farm will increase to 12.4 million broilers per year.

The company notes that the project is expected to have a positive socio-economic impact, including the creation of new jobs and an increase in revenues to the state and local budgets through taxes and fees.

Avesterra Group is a vertically integrated agricultural holding engaged in crop production, poultry farming, and product processing. Its structure includes Volodymyr-Volynska Poultry Farm, Volodymyr-Volynska Agrarna Kompaniia, a feed mill, and other enterprises. The group’s land bank in Volyn region exceeds 3,000 hectares.

The holding’s production infrastructure includes around 100 poultry houses located across 11 production sites. Its products are sold under the Chebaturochka, Epicur, and Delika brands.

The owners of Avesterra Group are members of the Dobkin family — former Ukrainian politicians Mykhailo and Dmytro Dobkin, who previously held government and parliamentary positions.
