On June 12, the property management of the Zhytomyr Regional Council held an auction for the sale of a single property complex of a sports and recreation center in the village of Berezina, where the newcomer to the Premier League, FC Polissya, trains.
It is reported that three participants competed for the object, consisting of a hotel for athletes, a football field and a water tower on the territory of the Stanishevsky forestry.
As a result, Gennady Butkevich's Football Club Polissya LLC (co-owner of the ATB network, owner of FC Polissya) was recognized as the winner of the auction. The company offered UAH 13.1 million for the sports base.
Until now, the sports base, together with the land plot, was subleased to LLC "Football Club Polissya".
Gennady Butkevich became the owner of FC Polissya in 2021, and in the same year his club won the First League and for the first time in its history will play in the top division of Ukraine.
