Construction materials producer FIXIT Gruppe plans to invest EUR 5mln in building a plant in Lviv region of Ukraine, told Oleg Siniutka the chairman of Lviv State Admininstration.
The local authorities have granted a land parcel for the production site of the German investor to Ukraine. The construction works will start in June this year. The plant will be a three shifts plant with 70 workers per shift.
Local construction companies will carry the construction, and the production equipment will be imported from Poland.
It is not the first project of FIXIT Gruppe in Ukraine. The company runs dry building mixes factory in the city of Fastiv in Kyiv region. The new production plant will work mainly for the needs of the construction market in Western Ukraine impeding illegal imports of the products of the group to Ukraine.
FIXIT GRUPPE is the umbrella company for the five building materials brands: FIXIT, GREUTOL, HASIT, KREISEL and RÖFIX since September 2006. The company operates in 68 locations in 19 European countries employing 2,500 people.
