Danfarm to launch pig complex for EUR 12mln

Danfarm Ukraine projected the pig complex for 25 000 pig heads and channeled the investments in Korosten city in Zhytomy region of Ukraine.  The construction works started in 2014 and now are coming to an end, told the deputy CEO Vadim Shestakov. As of present, the volume of the absorbed investments is at USD 10mln, when the project estimate stands at USD 12mln. There are 5 phases of the construction and the launching will regard two pig houses, food mixing building, and two administrative buildings. Vadim Shestakov said that the slaughtering is not yet in plans, as the company mulls to breed and fatten pigs first and only after that to launch the other building facilities of the complex.
