The EIB is going to provide funding for grain companies operating in Ukraine and planning to enlarge and carry modernization of the logistics infrastructure.
The bank expects to contribute to lowering of overland transportation costs and increasing of exports of agricultural products from Ukraine oversees. The EIB sees to improving the storage and transportation issues of the grain logistics in Ukraine. The funds will be channeled to one or several companies which have the stipulated infrastructure. To remind, the parliament has ratified the agri-food sector loan to be provided by the EU bank.
