Germany is ready to provide EUR 10mln for the projects of the energy efficiency fund of Ukraine and EUR 4mln for the trainings of the workers of the fund to specialize in energy audits.
Germany plans to sign an agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for additional allocation of EUR 10mln into multi-donors fund in order to co-finance the projects of the energy efficiency fund of Ukraine, told Gennadiy Zubko, a minister of regional development and construction of housing and utility sector of Ukraine.
At this, the German government has already agreed for financing of trainings of Ukrainian professionals in energy audits.
To remind, Ukrainian government approved the EU program of financing of the energy efficiency fund of Ukraine to the tune of EUR 268mln. In 2018, the EU will allocate EUR 50mln and EUR 54mln next year.
