Ihor Mazepa Acquires Leading Ukrainian Drilling Company Beiken Energy Ukraine

Concorde Capital founder Ihor Mazepa has acquired Ukraine’s leading drilling company, Beiken Energy Ukraine, from Chinese-based Beiken Energy Group

Ihor Mazepa, founder of Concorde Capital, has acquired Beiken Energy Ukraine via his Cyprus-based entity Prato Golf Investments LTD. The Ukrainian subsidiary was previously owned by China’s Beiken Energy Group.

Following the acquisition, Mazepa assumed the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Beiken Energy Ukraine. He is joined by Joe D. Rainey, a U.S. executive with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including leadership roles at Halliburton.

Mazepa stated that Rainey’s extensive background in managing international drilling operations across more than 50 countries will support the company’s growth and help address potential natural gas shortages in Ukraine.

Beiken Energy Ukraine LLC was established in 2017 as a subsidiary of Beiken Energy Group Co., Ltd (Shenzhen Stock Exchange – 002828.SZ). The company specializes in drilling services and integrated project management (IPM) within Ukraine’s oil and gas sector. Its operational base is located in Poltava.
