He has held senior management positions in companies such as: Litasco, BP plc, Cargill SA, Motor Oil Hellas and others. Mr. Anifantakis is now a member of the board of directors of Motor Oil Hellas, the largest Greek oil refining group, which owns one of the most modern refineries in the world and about 1 500 filling stations in Greece and abroad. In addition, Dimitrios manages his own broad portfolio of companies in the energy and real estate business both in Greece and abroad.
The Glusco network was created on the basis of the former Rosneft filling stations operating under the Formula, TNK, Zolotoy Gepard, Smile brands. In 2016, Rosneft decided to sell them to the Swiss Proton Energy group of businessman Nisan Moiseev.
