Italy to allocate EUR 1mln for Ukraine

The Italian government approved the decision and the contribution will come in two packages. Initial EUR 700 000 will be channeled in order to distribute food and cash aid for the most vulnerable civilian population in the conflict zone in the Donbass region. The other funds will be remitted to UNICEF  to humanitarian mine clearance. The funding will also cover costs for awareness courses for pre-school and school children where are landmines.
