The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has granted approval to Kostopil Glass Plant (KZS Glass) to acquire control over Khmelnytskyi Regional Brewery (PJSC).
Khmelnytskyi Brewery, also known as Khmelpyvo, produces beer under the "Proskurivske" brand. In 2024, the company reported UAH 76.9 million in net profit on revenues of UAH 146.4 million. The brewery is majority-owned (78%) and managed by Oleksandr Lysiuk.
KZS Glass is a leading Ukrainian producer of glass containers for the food, pharmaceutical, and other industries. The company is chaired by Dmytro Oliinyk, who also serves as head of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.
In 2024, KZS Glass produced over 450 million glass items, with 60% of output exported to European markets. The company posted a net profit of UAH 76.5 million and revenues totaling UAH 1.47 billion.
