IBE Trade Cord from the USA and Amjad Investments from the UAE are new challengers for the bidding upon assets of Ukraine’s chemical major Odessa Port Plant. IBE Trade Cord is specialized in production and trade of fertilizers. It is associated with Mr. Alexander Rovt. The head office of the company is located in New York, while the representative offices are in Budapest, Moscow, Kyiv, Odessa and Uzhgorod. IBE Trade operates several facilities in Russian Federation and Ukraine.
In its turn, Amjad Investments is engaged in investments mainly with headquarters in Dubai.
The other bidders are Ukrainian private join stock company Ukrnaftoburinnya and Glenshee Holdings Ltd from Cyprus.
Odessa Port Plant is a producer of chemical products and handles and reloads ammonia for marine specialized boats.
