Agricultural Nibulon presented its strategic development plan encompassing erection of 5 river terminals for reloading and handling of grains for river and combined navigation vessels. The potential of river transportation for grains in Ukraine is estimated at yearly 10mln tons. At this, river transportation of other loads may reach up to 50mln tons a year, the report presented by Nibulon reads. The very river transportation project will lessen a burden on highways for 2.5mln tons. Nibulon operates in grains market since 1991. The projected capacity of grains elevators of the company amount to 2mln tons. The domestic agricultural major has 5mln tons transshipment terminal in Nikolaev too.
