A new poultry farm for broiler chicken production with a capacity of up to 500,000 birds per year is planned in the village of Stara Ropa, near the city of Staryi Sambir in the Lviv region. The project will be implemented on the site of a former farmyard located approximately 7 km from the district center.
According to the plans, the enterprise will be located on a land plot of about 5.9 hectares. The project provides for the construction of several poultry houses, as well as auxiliary facilities required for the full operation of the farm. At any one time, the facility will be able to house around 85,000 broiler chickens, while total annual production is expected to reach up to 510,000 birds.
The project is being initiated by a local entrepreneur who previously served as head of one of the local districts in Sambir district. The owner of the enterprise is Kurochka Bib LLC, a company registered in Staryi Sambir.
The company says the project is expected to have a positive socio-economic impact on the region. In particular, this includes higher revenues for the local budget, the creation of new jobs, and improved conditions for business development, all of which are expected to contribute to strengthening the regional economy.
According to data from the YouControl analytical platform, the charter capital of Kurochka Bib LLC amounts to UAH 7.42 million, while its core business activity is poultry farming. Notably, until February 2026, the company operated under the name Teplodimenergo and specialized in freight transportation.
Since February of this year, the sole owner and director of the company has been Viktor Kapustynskyi. Previously, he served as head of District No. 1 of the Khyriv urban community, which includes the villages of Chapli, Humanets, Ivaniv, Pavlivka, and Rainova. No other business assets are currently registered under his name.
