Ukrainian fintech startup finerd.ai, which is part of the FRACTAL ecosystem, has launched an application for managing personal, family and business finances. FRACTAL invested $1 million in the development and launch of the product, while the company currently has no plans to raise external funding.

Development of finerd.ai began in early 2025. The idea for the project came from CEO Radomyr Novkovych, who previously worked on business finance automation and mobile application development. According to him, existing solutions proved insufficient for managing finances across multiple bank accounts, brokerage accounts, cryptocurrencies, cash holdings, debts and shared family expenses.

Finerd.ai consolidates financial information from different sources within a single application. Users can connect bank accounts, brokerage accounts and crypto wallets, track income and expenses, investments, assets, budgets and cash flows. The service also enables family financial management, debt tracking, and the separate management of personal and business finances.

In Ukraine, the application supports integration with monobank and PrivatBank. For financial institutions in Europe, the United States and Canada, the platform uses Plaid and Salt Edge, while Vezgo is used for cryptocurrency integrations. According to the team, the integration infrastructure enables finerd.ai to connect to more than 17,000 financial institutions.

One of the application’s key features is AI-powered bookkeeping automation. The system categorises transactions, recognises paper and electronic receipts, identifies transfers between a user’s own accounts so they are not recorded as income or expenses, and detects recurring payments and subscriptions. Users can also connect ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools to analyse their financial information.

At the same time, banking integrations operate in read-only mode: finerd.ai receives balance and transaction information but cannot independently initiate payments or transfers. Data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and, according to the company, is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

The service operates under a freemium model. Basic features for tracking income and expenses, budgeting and debt management are available free of charge. The expanded Pro plan allows users to connect banks, brokerage accounts and crypto wallets, use receipt recognition, financial forecasting and additional analytical tools. For users in Ukraine, the Pro plan costs $5, or UAH 225 per month. A Business plan is also available for companies.

At launch, the finerd.ai team consists of 14 people. The application is available on iOS, Android and via the web. It is currently used by several hundred active users who previously tested the product within the existing Saldo Finance financial service.

The team identifies Ukraine, Europe and the United States as finerd.ai’s primary markets. By the end of 2026, the company plans to expand the automation of financial management and deepen integrations with Telegram, ChatGPT, Claude and other digital assistants. The company has not disclosed specific targets for user growth or financial performance.
