Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems developer Skyeton and leading British defense company Prevail Partners have announced the launch of a joint venture.
The initiative will establish serial production of Raybird drones in the United Kingdom.
The new manufacturing facility will serve not only the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine but also provide systems for the UK and other NATO member states.
Skyeton is recognized for its ACS-3/Raybird reconnaissance drone systems.
According to Prevail Partners, Raybird outperforms its competitors in endurance, operational range, cost-efficiency, and mission coverage.
The base model of the Raybird drone was developed in 2016, and in 2018 the ACS-3/Raybird system was officially adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The drone is capable of bypassing air defense systems and zones of active electronic warfare, enabling high-quality visual reconnaissance at altitudes of up to 5.5 km, among other operational tasks.
