USA to provide USD 30mln for energy security in Ukraine

The anti-Russian sanction laws include provision of USD 30mln to back energy security in Ukraine. The official position of the USA stands for support of Ukraine and condemning of the destabilizing efforts of the Russian Federation. The document envisages assistance for Ukraine and Europe at large to reduce dependence on Russian energy resources and opposing of NordStream 2 pipeline project. Recently, government of Ukraine signed a deal with the US Xcoal on deliveries of anthracite coal, as major domestic mines are under control of separatists in Donbass region of Ukraine.
