The regional branch of the State Property Fund for the Vinnitsa and Khmelnytsky regions sold the unified property complex of the state enterprise "Zakupnyansky Quarry" to the Kharkov company "Dry Port".
Although the auction for the sale of the Zakupnyansky quarry took place back in February, due to the disqualification of the winner, Endurance Agro LLC, the paperwork was delayed. After this, the right to purchase the lot passed to the Dry Port. The buyer paid UAH 62.4 million, including UAH 10.4 million in value added tax.
Dry Port LLC, which was registered in 2011, specializes in wholesale trade. Among the owners of the company is the investment fund "Northwood" of businessmen Alexander Kiselev and Dmitry Churilov from Dnepr, engaged in the production of lime and gypsum mixtures.
The Zakupnyansky quarry extracts decorative and building stone, limestone, gypsum, chalk and shale.
The enterprise developed the Kovalevskoye limestone deposit.
Its assets include large-scale and specialized production equipment.
