"Goodjet" – geolocation service of customer prices

The aim of this project maintains in creation of geolocation service for the comparison of customer prices and identifying the availability of the product in distribution networks – “Goodjet”, which is oriented on the work with clients, trademarks and chains in the individual manner, and also consumer rights protection.

The project provides development of the innovational internet-product, which will be available on PCs, and also in the form of apps for iOS and Android-based smartphones and tablets.  

The implementation of the project will stimulate:

  • Purchaser`s making the informed choise of the distribution network or brand, on basis of information about the price of the grocery basket, location of the store and feedbacks about the quality of the product;
  • Forming of the area for directed communication of distribution networks and brands with their customers, and opportunity to receive an adequate and relevant information about market developments;
  • Activation of the role of consumer rights protection communities and, as a result, crystallization of the rules of the game on Ukrainian retail market.  

A functional beta-version of the service and agreements with several players of retail distribution market were made on this stage of implementation of the project.  

Successful implementation of the “Goodjet” is determined by following factors:  

  • Uniqueness of the software program allows quick processing of huge data bases and comparison of the prices of  grocery baskets;
  • Availability of geolocation option bot for PCs and modern mobile devices (smartphones, talets);
  • «Goodjet» sells nothibg except of information;
  • «Goodjet» works with agricultural and food chains, unlike any of the other resources, which are presented on Ukrainian market, and focused on distribution of household and electrical appliances, cloth, accessories and etc;
  • «Goodjet» co-works with consumer rights protection communities, and, consequently, is a resource that is loyal to its customers (negotiations about signing the trilateral memorandum between direction of the resource, distribution networks and consumer rights protection communities, which confirms the quality of the information on the resource and its independence of government)  .

The main potential users of the resource are: студенты, 18-24 года;

  • Young families, 25-35 years;
  • tourists;
  • low-income sections of the population.

Main clients of the resource:

  • manufacturers of the products of grocery designation;
  • distribution networks (the minimal predicted number of network-clients - 45 pc.);
  • above-mentioned users, who want to use the premium accounts with additional functions (push-messages with rebates/ discounts etc)

Because of the poor development of the niche of price aggregates in product segment, the level of competition maintains low.  

Rivals of the Goodjet can be divided into two groups:

  • services, which are oriented on delivery of the product (http://gastronom.com.ua/, http://www.ambar.ua/, http://zakaz.ua/ru/ и т.п.);
  • services for comparison of the price of the product (http://myprice.org.ua/, http://mysupermarket.org.ua/).

Marketing strategy of the company

On the stage of active development of the product it is provided by:

  • external advertising;
  • viral advertising;
  • advertising on the radio;
  • advertising in the subway;
  • Internet advertising: SEO-optimization, SMM, banner ad.
