The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has included the Agro-Innovation Hub industrial park in the official Register of Industrial Parks. The new industrial facility will be created in Uman district, Cherkasy Region, and will specialize in the processing of agricultural products, which will allow around 1,000 new jobs to be created in the region.
According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the industrial park will be located on a 22.94-hectare site and will operate for 30 years. The project is aimed at developing the agricultural processing industry and increasing the added value of agricultural products produced in the region.
The park is expected to host food industry enterprises specializing in the processing and preservation of potatoes, fruits and vegetables. Priority areas also include the production of vegetable oil, flour and cereal products, starch, bakery and pasta products, as well as ready meals and instant food products.
The initiator of the industrial park is DK Industrial, owned by entrepreneurs Andrii and Liubomyr Dykun. Andrii Dykun heads the Ukrainian Agrarian Council and previously served as Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Liubomyr Dykun is a deputy of the Cherkasy Regional Council.
To prepare the site and create the necessary infrastructure, the company plans to attract around UAH 412 million in investment from various sources. These funds are expected to be directed toward site improvement, engineering preparation of the land plot and the creation of conditions for future manufacturing enterprises.
The creation of the new industrial park is in line with the state policy of developing industrial infrastructure and stimulating investment in agricultural processing. The project is expected to support the development of Cherkasy Region’s economy, attract new residents and increase tax revenues to local budgets.
According to the Ministry of Economy, as of June 2026, Ukraine’s Register of Industrial Parks included 121 industrial parks. By the end of 2025, 37 industrial enterprises had already been built or were under construction on their territories, indicating the gradual development of this instrument for attracting investment and creating new production facilities in the country’s regions.
