Agroliga to invest USD 9mln into vegetable oil refining plant

The phase 1 of the construction project of the plant is scheduled to be completed during 2017

The projected capacity of the vegetable oil refining plant is 10 000tons a month. The total project worth amounts to USD 9mln, of which USD 6.7mln are outside sources of funding.

Alexandr Berdnik, the CEO of the agro holding said that the project would be implemented in the frames of the corporate strategy and with tight deadlines. The refining capacity will reach 10 000tons a month. At this, a brand new production line will be mounted. After the launching of the plant in a new natural business year, the company may grasp 10-12% of the sunflower oil market in Kharkiv region.

As Mr. Berdnik has put it, the plant will be built on the land parcel with a railways feeder road and all the needed and available utilities in Novaya Vodolaga in Kharkiv region. Eventually, all the needed approval documentation and permits are going to be obtained. 

The CEO of Agroliga emphasized that the attracted investments were timely. As a result, the supply and delivery of the production equipment are already prepaid. 

The active ground works have been started, as the holding plans to finish them by winter freeze.
