The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) granted approval on April 10 for the Krolevets Feed Mill to acquire two Agroprosperis group entities in the Sumy region.
According to the AMCU statement, LLC “Krolevets Feed Mill” received permission to acquire control over LLC “Hlukhiv-Agroinvest” through the direct purchase of shares providing more than 50% of voting rights in the company’s supreme governing body. A similar approval was granted for the acquisition of “Krolevets-Agro.”
The Krolevets Feed Mill is located in the Sumy region and operates a land bank of approximately 95,000 hectares. The company’s director is Oleksandr Andrushchenko.
The acquired companies, Hlukhiv-Agroinvest and Krolevets-Agro, are part of the Agroprosperis group structure.
According to Hlukhiv-Agroinvest’s 2020 report, the company leased more than 10,300 hectares of land across 10 local councils.
According to Latifundist.com, as part of this transaction, the Krolevets Feed Mill will acquire a total of 14,000 hectares of land, while the purchase does not include the Krolevets grain elevator.
It is also worth noting that in March, the AMCU approved Agrotone’s acquisition of the private agricultural lease enterprise “Zorya,” which was also part of the Agroprosperis group structure.
