Alterra Group to Develop Peretyn Logistics Center in Lviv Region with ₴1.3B Investment

Ukrainian developer Alterra Group is building the large-scale Peretyn logistics center in Lviv region

The project involves an investment of ₴1.3 billion (approx. $32 million), with a projected payback period of 7–9 years. The new complex, spanning a total area of 51,000 sq. m, is expected to create more than 700 jobs.

The logistics hub will feature warehouse spaces ranging from 89 to 13,000 sq. m. Among its innovations will be Ukraine’s first warehouse constructed from stabilized pine using glued laminated timber with fire-resistant coating, enhancing fire safety. The architectural concept emphasizes the raw use of concrete, metal, and wood without additional finishing.

The site already hosts the Obriy retail park, home to tenants such as Epicenter, Nova Poshta, Jysk, Sinsay, Aurora, and others. The project foresees eight phases of warehouse development and two phases of retail facilities. The first buildings are scheduled for delivery this year, with full completion expected by mid-2026. The project’s symbol is the Penrose triangle, an “impossible” geometric form that becomes complete when viewed from a certain angle.

Founded in 2016 with charter capital of ₴5 million by Dmytro Kovalchuk, Alterra Group has already delivered nine projects totaling about 108,000 sq. m, with nearly the same volume planned for completion in 2025. In 2024, the company doubled its revenue to ₴236.97 million while cutting losses almost in half to ₴699,000.

In May, Alterra Group also announced plans to develop the Formatsiia.Vinnytsia industrial park, with a total investment of ₴6 billion.
