Belgian Sibelco Group bought two clay mining companies in Ukraine

We are talking about Euromineral LLC and “Kurdyumov plant of acid-resistant products” PJSC

As the press service of INTEGRITES states, which acted as a legal advisor to Sibelco Group, a global producer of a wide range of minerals for various industrial sectors, Sibelco acquired two Ukrainian clay mining companies: Euromineral LLC and “Kurdyumov plant of acid-resistant products” PJSC.

It is noted that the acquisition of Ukrainian enterprises, which officially became part of Sibelco, helped the company to strengthen its position in the regional market and expand access to raw materials.

INTEGRITES added that "the parties did not disclose the amount the assets were acquired for and the duration of the negotiations between the parties".

Sibelco Group is a large industrial minerals manufacturer headquartered in Belgium. The group unites 170 production facilities in more than 30 countries.

In February of this year, we wrote that a company from the Netherlands, Watts Blake Bearne International Holdings B.V., intends to acquire 100% of the shares of “Kurdyumov plant of acid-resistant products” PJSC.
