Belgian Upgrade Energy revealed its interest to construct a solar power plant in Zhytomyr region of Ukraine. The company signed a memorandum of collaboration with the state regional administration.
The investment will amount to USD 21-24mln. The projected capacity of the facility will be 25-30MW. The construction of the plant will take two years. A number of 45 job places will be created in the region, as a result.
The investor company has already signed the corresponding land lease agreements. It will be the first investment experience for me in Ukraine, told Raf Vermeire the CEO of Upgrade Energy. The contractor company in Ukraine will be Irshansk Solar Power Plant.
Upgrade Energy specializes in engineering, technological and technical support for the renewable energy projects.
