Fairfax Financial Holding Limited from Toronto received the awaited approval for the 25% stake from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (ACU) in indirect voting rights via Dutch Astarta Holding N.V.
The approval stipulates avoiding of internal competition for two years as it was put in the contract of the parties involved. The corresponding contract was between Fairfax and founders of Astarta, those were Viktor Ivanchik and his Albacon Ventures and Valeria Korotkova and her Aluxes Holding Ltd.
