Cheese producer Bel Shostka Ukraine to attract USD 12mln loan

Cheese producer Bel Shostka Ukraine plans to attract USD 12mln loan, according to the National Securities and Exchange Commission of Ukraine. The public joint stock company has endorsed such a decision during the extraordinary meeting held on November 22, 2017. At this, no other details have been provided.

To remind, French Bel group of companies acquired Shostka City Milk Combine located in Sumy region of Ukraine in May 2007. The world leading producer French Bel operates in 120 countries.

Bel Shostka Ukraine manages such brands as Shostka, Vesela Korivka (Happy Cow), Kiri, MiniBabybel, and Leerdammer. In 2016, the company reduced its net loss 3.6-times y/y to UAH 13.1mln (USD 0.5mln). At this, the revenues increased by almost 9% y/y to UAH 637mln in 2016.
