The COD press service reported that the glass production plant in Berezan will start operating two years later than planned. At the end of 2024, the group began building a second plant in the west of the country.
The group expects to build two glass production plants. The first project, “City of Glass,” in Berezan, Kyiv region, for €135 million, COD planned to complete by the end of 2024.
However, the war made adjustments. “We plan to complete the construction of the plant in Berezan in two years,” the group’s press service reported. The planned production capacity of the plant is 600 tons per day.
“Unlike others, our company is currently the only one on the market that has not stopped at presenting ideas, but has already actively moved on to implementing and directly building the plant,” the COD press service added.
COD managed to attract a strategic partner for the construction and management of the plant, select an EPC contractor, make an advance payment for some of the critical equipment and begin construction and installation work on the site.
COD received part of the financing for connecting engineering networks under the state program to stimulate the development of industrial parks within the framework of the “Made in Ukraine” policy.
The second line – for the production of transparent and architectural glass – will be built in the west of the country, the COD press service reported. Last year, the group received management of an industrial park in this part of the country and began implementing the construction project.
