Confectionary AVK invested UAH 120mln (USD 5mln) in its production complex in the city of Dnipro, the company’s press release reads. The additional production lines of 10 thousand yearly output capacity were mounted at the company’s plant in Dnipro. In this way, AVK will double production of cereal foods under brands of Kresko, Mazhor and Bam-book and other.
After launching the new production lines, AVK’s monthly production amounted to 1,800 tons at the plant in Dnipro. The decision to launching a new production line was prompted by the growing demand from local and export markets for the biscuits of the company in general and sweet Kresko crisps in particular, told Vladimir Avramenko the founder of AVK.
The exports of biscuits made of cereals increased 1.7-fold y/y in 2017. The company expects this trend to follow in 2018.
The AVK group of companies was established in 1991. As of present, the production facilities are located in the city of Dnipro. Earlier, AVK run its factories in Donetsk and Lugansk, but the company lost control over them due to the war in the Donbass. Last year, the company invested UAH 150mln in setting up new production lines in the city of Dnipro in order to produce some wider range of products
