Construction has begun on a new retail park in Uzhhorod, located on the city’s ring road along the international Kyiv–Chop highway. The project is set to open in summer 2026, according to a 9 December announcement from consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), the exclusive broker for the project.
The development will be carried out in two phases. The first phase includes the construction of the main 3,500 sq m retail park, as well as a sports area featuring football fields and padel courts. The second phase will involve the construction of additional auxiliary facilities.
By May 2025, tenants will receive their premises for interior fit-out and preparation ahead of opening. As noted by RDA CEO Andriy Lototskyi, the official opening of the retail park is scheduled for August 2026.
The site was chosen strategically — the Kyiv–Chop highway provides convenient logistics and high traffic flow, reaching approximately 45,000 vehicles per day. The project site will also include parking for 120 cars.
RDA has already begun the leasing process for the retail park. Expected tenants include home goods stores, sporting apparel and footwear retailers, as well as fashion brands. RDA previously participated in the launch of a retail park in Mukachevo, which opened in November 2024 and spans over 8,600 sq m, hosting retailers such as Sinsay, Waikiki, Comfy, Megasport and others.
