Danish investor to build seven residential buildings and a kindergarten in Chernigov for €20-25 million

This will be the largest private investment in the city

Mayor of Chernigov Alexander Lomako reported that the Danish “Fund for the Restoration of Ukraine” is implementing a project to build seven residential buildings and a kindergarten in Masany. We are talking, preliminary, about €20-25 million.

On the part of Chernigov, the agreement on this cooperation was signed by KP Chernigovstroyinvest. Construction is planned to start in February 2025. According to the work plan, seven houses and a kindergarten should be completed by the end of the first half of 2027.

There are plans to build seven modern, environmentally friendly and energy-efficient houses with 410 apartments for people who lost their own homes as a result of the war. An agreement was also reached on the construction of a kindergarten for 200 children next to them.

Alexander Lomako noted that the constructed apartments will become the property of the city community. They will be distributed among Chernigov residents who lost their homes as a result of Russia’s barbaric aggression.
