Danosha to build its second biogas plant

The first biogas plant, built by a pig-breeding company, has solved environmental problems and contributed to the introduction of an alternative energy source

The representative of pork manufacturer Danosha Ivan Kalkovets said that the company would build its second biogas plant in late 2019.

Ivan Kalkovets noted that this biogas plant would become a separate business. In particular, it can be used in processing products from other industries, such as dairies, sugar plants, distilleries and agricultural enterprises.

The partner in the implementation of this project will be a Danish project organization. The capacity of the new plant will be 1.5 MW.

As the representative of the company said, biogas plant Danosha was launched 4.5 years ago and started working at full capacity only 2.5 years later. In 2015 it provided energy for 7 pig farms.

The new production will be provided with waste processing to utilize CO². This is the main objective of the construction of the second biogas plant.

It should be reminded that the company Danosha has received permission from the AMCU to purchase private enterprise "Galician agricultural investment", which is a part of the agricultural holding "Ukrainian Agricultural Investments" (UAI).

The company "Danosha" was established in 2004 by Danish investors. It is a part of the Danish group of companies Axzon A / S, which develops pig-breeding complexes in Denmark, Poland, Ukraine and Russia. In Ukraine, the company's business includes plant growing, production of mixed fodders, biogas and electricity.
