DressX, a digital clothing store founded by two Ukrainians, has raised $2 million

DressX, a virtual clothing store, has announced that it has raised a $2 million seed funding round

The round was led by The Artemis Fund and Alpha Edison, with participation from Unlock Venture Partners, One Way Ventures, TLF Ventures, Startup Mavericks, and Signal Peak Ventures.

The startup team plans to spend the funds raised on scaling and developing sales across multiple channels.

DressX was launched in 2020 in the United States by two Ukrainians, Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova. The startup DressX develops a store where you can choose and buy digital clothes.

To get your picture in a digital dress, you have to upload a good-quality light photo with no harsh shadows. Wait 1-2 days to process it. The store sells virtual versions of some designs, with physical forms of some others also available.
