The EBRD director in Ukraine, Sevki Acuner voiced the program launching for 2017 at the International Conference ‘What agribusiness complex should expect in 2017” organized by Ukrainian agrarian confederation and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. The EBRD will invest EUR 40mln in some 100 projects in a chosen 17 regions of Ukraine. At this, EUR 10mln will be allocated for structuring of the loans for SMEs, meaning legal services too. The regional allocation of funds will not have a ceiling and the crediting will depend upon business and economic activity of the borrowing entities. The EBRD is aiming at long term cooperation in helping local agricultural SMEs to gain competitive advantage at the market.
