"The agreement with Epicenter K is an important element in the development of our strategic partnership, together with the company we have already agreed on the next steps to expand cooperation and are already working on new projects," head of Privat's corporate business department Yevhen Kulikov is quoted as saying.
It is indicated that the partnership of Epicenter K with the state bank on loan agreements and in the field of retail lending in the network has been going on for 18 years.

Cooperation with PrivatBank allows us to further strengthen our positions and implement ambitious projects that will become an important contribution to the future of Ukraine and ensure its energy independence," the CEO of the Epicenter K group, Petro Mykhailyshyn, is quoted as saying.
As noted in the press release, the Epicenter K investment plan provides for the development and construction of projects in the field of retail, manufacturing, agro-industry, logistics, e-commerce and energy until 2030 for a total of about UAH 100 billion.
The Epicenter chain of shopping centers is one of the leaders in the Ukrainian retail market in the segment of household goods and construction. As of August 2024, the chain united 70 operating shopping centers in different regions of the country. The company's financial statements indicate that its turnover in 2023 amounted to more than UAH 71.6 billion, PrivatBank cites information.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), as of July 1, 2024, PrivatBank ranked first (UAH 895.87 billion) in total assets among 62 banks in the country. The financial institution's net profit for 2023 amounted to UAH 37.8 billion.
