Epicenter plans to attract EUR 55.3 million for the 2nd stage of installation of a 75 MW solar power plant

Epicenter K LLC is looking for investments to implement the second stage of the project to build solar power plants (SPP) at its facilities with a total capacity of 75 MW by the end of 2025.

The total cost of the second stage, during which solar power plants will be installed on the roofs and sites of the company's facilities with an area of ​​1.3 million square meters, is EUR 55.3 million.

"We are looking for investments. Because we can build everything, but slowly, or we can do it in stages, but for a long time (...) In order to find these investments, we have submitted applications to several banks," said Victoria Kudievskaya, head of Epicenter's solar power plant construction projects.

The final goal of the project, which consists of three stages, is the construction of renewable energy sources (RES) installations at Epicenter's facilities with a total capacity of 108 MW on a total area of ​​1.8 million square meters.

At the first stage (in 2023-2024), Epicenter installed solar power plants on roofs with an area of ​​170 thousand square meters. m 7.5 MW solar power plant at its own expense in the amount of EUR7.2 million.

The third stage of the project is scheduled to be completed by 2030 at the company's facilities in the southern and eastern regions of the country. It is planned to install a 26 MW solar power plant on 360 thousand square meters at a cost of EUR12.9 million.

The Epicenter Group consumes 276 million kWh of electricity per year.
