The company representatives of Fujikura met with the head of Lviv regional state administration in order to discuss prospects of the Japanese manufacturer of electrical equipment and auto parts to opening a yet another, third in a row, production unit in Ukraine.
The growth of Fujikura provides an opportunity to consider options for expanding business activities in Ukraine, told the president of the company Akira Sasagawa. In this respect, there is a high probability that the management of Fujikura Automotive Europe GmbH will raise a subject of building a new plant in the territory of the Lviv region next year.
Additionally, the representatives of Fujikura voiced a request to the Ukrainian authorities in securing faster crossing of the border for the goods to provide the company's continuous production and timely execution of orders.
To remind, the Japanese company Fujikura started its first factory of electrical equipment and spare parts in Lviv back in April 2016. Later, the second production facility was launched in Rava-Russka of Lviv region in September 2016.
Fujikura began its business in 1885 in Japan. Now the company has reached the scale of an international corporation engaged in innovative technologies. Its turnover exceeds EUR 5bn per year. The company's representative offices are located in the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Great Britain, Vietnam and India.
