The government of Ukraine decided to allocate UAH 400mln for “The warm house” program on energy efficiency in 2017 budget, announced Sergey Savchuk, head of State Agency for Energy Efficiency. The State Agency for Energy Efficiency is actively involved in the program helping to promote the program among citizens and in realization of the program. The households can apply for non-refundable financial aid to helping warm houses, change of windows, and modernization of lighting, as well as renewal of meters for water and gas and other. Since start of the program in October 2014, more than 180 000 of families attracted UAH 2.6bn for the energy efficiency projects at their homes.
