Ihor Mazepa and ex-deputy of the Rivne State Administration bought an amber deposit in the Rivne region

The Tomashhorod amber deposit has an area of 458 hectares and amber has not yet been mined there

According to Nadra.info, the owner of Concorde Capital, Ihor Mazepa, together with the former deputy of the Rivne Regional Council Yuriy Blahodir, in October 2023 became the owners of the company "Sankamyan" with a license to mine amber at the Tomashgorod deposit in the Rivne region. In addition to them, the third partner in the deal was Chinese citizen Wang Zhikai.

The company "Sankamyan" changed its name to "Solar Craft" on January 18, the day Mazepa was detained on suspicion of illegal construction of the left-bank protective dam of the Kyiv Reservoir.

"Sankamyan", which received approval from the Rivne Regional Council for amber mining back in 2016, only in January 2020 submitted an application to the State Geological Survey for obtaining a special permit without holding an auction, but the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection had comments, so the special permit was issued only after the decision court

A special permit for subsoil use was granted in July 2022 for 20 years until July 2042.
