The Export Credit Agency of Italy (SIMEST) has confirmed its readiness to insure Italian companies' investments in Ukraine.
"SIMEST has announced 500 million euros in support for Italian companies planning to invest in Ukraine," Tsivkach said.
As reported, a statement of intent to cooperate in restoring Ukraine's private insurance market was signed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Commission, Norway, Switzerland, the TaiwanBusiness-EBRD Technical Cooperation Fund and Ukraine on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London.
In addition, global reinsurance broker Aon and leading global insurance and reinsurance platform Lloyd's have announced cooperation with Vienna Insurance Group to expand insurance/reinsurance opportunities to help strengthen Ukraine's economic resilience and support its recovery and reconstruction.
Reinsurance brokerage Marsh McLennan on June 22 announced plans to cooperate with the Ukrainian government and insurers to help open access to the global insurance market, a report published on the Marsh website said.
