Canada allocates USD 13mln for support of free trade agreement with Ukraine

The free trade agreement between Canada and Ukraine came into force starting August 1, 2017

Canada spending amounts to USD 13mln for the support of the free trade agreement between Canada and Ukraine, told Karim Morcos, Director of the Canadian Development Program in Ukraine. The agreement between the two countries came into force, as of August 1, 2017. From now on, Ukrainian producers can benefit from lifting of tariffs for a wide range of products. Canada expects to find prospects in Ukraine in IT, agriculture and fashion industries. The agreement will contribute for job creation and development of innovations and investments for both Ukraine and Canada alike, told Karim Morcos.
