Lviv-based TechMagic Acquires Kyiv IT Development Studio Diversido

Lviv IT company TechMagic has acquired Kyiv-based development studio Diversido, strengthening its growth strategy through M&A

As part of the deal, Diversido founder Tetiana Kobzar is selling 100% of the company, joining the TechMagic management team in Strategic Account Management, while the Diversido team will remain intact. The parties did not disclose the value of the transaction, although market estimates place it at up to $500,000, with the final price depending on the company’s performance during the first year after integration.

The deal represents another step in TechMagic’s consolidation strategy. In 2022, the company acquired Dynamo Development to strengthen its position in the U.S. market, and in 2025 it purchased the Polish company Hitteps to expand its expertise in Salesforce consulting. As a result, the acquisition of Diversido has become at least the third M&A transaction completed by TechMagic in recent years.

For TechMagic, the acquisition logically complements its existing specialization. According to the company’s website, TechMagic now employs more than 400 specialists, works with clients in 15 countries, and has teams across 18 countries, with a strategic focus on HealthTech, AI, cybersecurity, and Salesforce solutions. Diversido, for its part, specializes in digital product development for healthtech, education, and IoT, and describes itself as a globally distributed team originating from Kyiv. According to LinkedIn, Diversido has 11–50 employees, confirming its profile as a small but niche development team.

Following integration, the combined company’s workforce will exceed 440 employees. This indicates that TechMagic is not simply adding a small development studio but is strengthening its capabilities in verticals where it already holds strong positions, particularly HealthTech and product engineering for Western clients.

The Diversido transaction was advised by MergeWave Capital, which positions itself as an M&A broker and investment firm specializing in IT, Web3, and FinTech across Europe. Previously, TechMagic’s acquisition of Hitteps was supported by the M&A Office of the Lviv IT Cluster, established in autumn 2024 to assist member companies with business acquisitions, sales, and mergers.

Against the backdrop of a weaker global IT market, the deal reflects a broader trend in Ukraine’s technology sector. Instead of pursuing scale at any cost, companies are increasingly focusing on targeted acquisitions of smaller niche teams that add client portfolios, industry expertise, and ready-made delivery capabilities. For TechMagic, the Diversido deal represents another step toward inorganic growth, while for the Ukrainian market it signals that M&A in the IT services segment remains an active development tool even during wartime, as evidenced by the company’s series of acquisitions between 2022 and 2026.
