New edible oil refinery to be erected in Donetsk region of Ukraine

The complex will include refinery and elevator storage capacities for seeds

The agricultural complex including edible oil refinery and elevator for seeds will be put into operations in Pokrovsk of Donetsk region of Ukraine in 2018, told Ruslan Trebushkin the city mayor.

The grain elevator capacities will amount to 60 000tons. The construction works will be finished in several months. The edible oil plant will be launched in summer in 2018 before season of gathering crops.  

According to the estimates of the local authorities, the volumes of grains will increase from 12-20 thousand tons in the first year to 60 thousand tons in two-three years. As there are many farmers in the region who produce large volumes of grains for sale, told Ruslan Trebushkin.

It will be the first edible oil processing plant with modern equipment in the region allowing to making exports of edible oil from Donetsk region of Ukraine.

To remind, ViOil attracted USD 80mln syndicated loan from several European banks.
