A new oat processing plant has been commissioned in the village of Shevchenkove in Ukraine’s Kyiv region, providing a full production cycle from grain preparation to finished products. The launch is aimed at developing the processing industry, expanding export capacity and generating additional demand for Ukrainian raw materials.

The plant can process up to 60 tonnes of oats and produce up to 34 tonnes of oat flakes per day. The facility operates a full processing cycle, increasing the added value of its products and ensuring quality control at every stage of production.

Since starting operations, the plant has produced more than 1,300 tonnes of finished products. Of this volume, 614 tonnes have been exported to countries in Europe and the Middle East, demonstrating sustained international demand for Ukrainian processed products.

The company said the launch of the new production complex has improved the efficiency of technological processes, reduced energy consumption and optimised production costs. The project has also created new jobs in the region.

Another economic benefit has been the expansion of cooperation with Ukrainian agricultural producers. The plant provides farmers with an additional sales channel for locally grown oats, supporting the development of domestic grain processing and increasing the production of higher-value goods.

The plant’s launch is also expected to strengthen the position of Ukrainian oat products in international markets and increase the export potential of the country’s agricultural sector.
