Domestic pork producer APK-Invest decided to double its land bank, told domestic tycoon Boris Kolesnikov, the final beneficiary of the company.
As of present, the company has around 41 000ha of lands at its disposal, of which 5,000ha are located over the occupied territories of the Donbass region. The company’s grains storage capacities amount to 86 000tons and they are to be increased to 120 000 thousand tons.
The land bank increase is a move aimed at increasing the fodder production.
APK-Invest runs a vertically integrated production cycle for the chilled pork: from growing grain and making mixed fodder to production and sale of meat products. The company's products are marketed under the trademarks of M'yasna vesna, Kolbaspishcheprom, M'asno, and Stavros.
To remind, Industrial Milk Company also plans to expand its land bank by investing USD 20mln.
