Shares of Ukrainian Agroholdings Rise: IMC Leads with Nearly 15% Growth

Shares of major Ukrainian agricultural companies listed on European exchanges demonstrated strong positive dynamics over the past week

These figures come from investment firm Eavex Capital, which regularly monitors market trends of Ukrainian issuers.

The most notable increase was recorded in IMC shares, which rose by 14.8%, bringing the company’s market capitalization to USD 286 million. Analysts attribute the heightened investor interest to the company’s stable financial performance and improved yield forecasts amid favorable weather conditions this season.

MHP shares also showed substantial growth, rising by 6.8% to a market capitalization of USD 642 million. Investors anticipate further expansion of export volumes following improved logistics through the Danube ports.

Astarta’s shares gained 5.9%, lifting the company’s market value to USD 322 million. Analysts note that market sentiment was supported by an updated production forecast and positive price dynamics in the European sugar market.

Kernel shares increased by 5.5%, reaching a capitalization of USD 1.696 billion — the company remains the largest publicly traded agricultural issuer from Ukraine. Positive movement was also observed among smaller companies: Agroton posted +5.8% (USD 35 million), and Milkiland showed +2.7% (USD 16 million).

Since the beginning of 2025, IMC shares have shown the strongest performance with +83.8%, making the company the clear sector leader for the year. Significant gains were also recorded by Milkiland (+64.3%), Kernel (+62.3%), and Agrometon (+58.8%).

MHP (+20.5%) and Astarta (+15.2%) also continue to demonstrate stable annual growth, indicating improved investor sentiment toward the Ukrainian agricultural sector amid gradual recovery of logistics and favorable global food market outlooks.
