Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson stated that the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has assessed market capabilities for delivering defense equipment within a 0–24 month timeframe. As part of the package, Sweden will procure new military assets worth $912 million directly from the defense industry.
A significant portion of the assistance—$465 million—will be channeled through multilateral initiatives and international coalitions under the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, as well as by purchasing equipment from Ukrainian manufacturers for further transfer.
